What are Fake OS Games/Interface Dramas?

They are a new genre of game; fake or fantasy OSes—mobile, desktop or otherwise that players use to solve puzzles, uncover mysteries, or find true love. We’ve been developing the Interface Drama Master List to collect these types of games into one genre, so you may see some familiar titles.
